P.E. Ball skills
This half term we have been practising ball skills. We began by learning how to keep a ball safe in our hands without dropping it. We rolled it up and down our bodies, around our waist and along our arms. We then learnt how to roll a ball along the ground, carefully bending one knee and making sure that we rolled it slowly and directly to hit a target. We practised our aim with a selection of activities involving different targets. We also played games where we had to run in front of the rolling ball and get it to pass through our legs or get in front of it and stop it with our foot. It has been really good fun and we are improving with each lesson.
