The PTA is now a registered charity who organise events and raise money to enhance the experiences of our children.  We are a group of parents and teachers who volunteer to run events and are always looking for new members and ideas.

Co-Secretary:  We are currently running without a secretary.  If you would be interested in taking on the role please contact us.

Co-Treasurers:  Julie Tomkins & Kerry Roach

We work on a “Co” structure so that each role has support and the work load can be shared.

We desperately need more committee members to attend the monthly meetings, help prepare for events and coordinate activities.  We are a very supportive group and will always help you with any task you choose to take on.  Younger siblings are welcome to tag along to most events as we know childcare can be a problem.  Children are welcome to attend PTA meetings (make sure they have something to do) – we strive to keep meetings to 1 hour long.

Our most recent project – We are currently helping to enhance the children’s learning by funding fun experiences like Mr G Science Show and the life education bus coming later in the year.  We are funding the Year 6 first aid training again this year and have already purchased a toaster for the breakfast nurture group.

We also use our funds to buy Christmas gifts for each child, put on Christmas parties, subsidise trips, buy equipment and organise a leavers party for our Year 6’s each year, amongst other things.

We organise events to raise money, such as fairs and bingo, but also events that give the children and their families a great experience, like the discos and our very successful ice skating day. We are always keen to hear your ideas for events.
